We are considering alternatives such as requiring registration to post on the blog.
Another alternative is to use the Kerry Reference Library for discussion as there are many more controls there.

Eventually an email list will get too big to handle. We went through this with the original Kerry bloggers.

Restricting posting for the first 24 hours might not have been good for tihs site as many people were looking fora place to post immediately after the loss and closing of the official blog. I wish I had that option for the Doctors for Kerry group. We ddidn't have any problems with trolls there, but we had several people join just to post ads and then never come back. Some of the doctors in the group got upset about any spam.
I'm so happy to live in Baja Canada!
