Today's Washington Post had an article about Kerry's visit to a local Cheesesteak haunt in Philly.
Aside from criticizing John for his etiquette, "Kerry was caught nibbling daintily at his sandwich", the journalist went on to assert that John was trying to look more like a "regular-guy" by recently being seen "riding a motorcycle".
Oh, please! This article is about as trite as they come. Here's my reponse to the journalist from the Washington Post, Dana Milbank:
Dana,
Your commentary on Senator John Kerry is tacky at best.
"As he seeks to lose his reputation for $75 Salon Cristophe haircuts, Turnbull & Asser shirts and long fingernails to play classical guitar, he has been seen riding a motorcycle and doing other regular-guy things."
Everyone knows John Kerry is has been doing "regular-guy things", like riding a Harley, windsurfing and bicycling for years. Perhaps you missed that Kerry rode 110 miles in MA just 2 weeks ago to raise money for the Jimmy Fund. John Kerry is about as down to earth as they come in this presidential race!
If you think that it comes down to how a man eats his Philly Cheesesteak in this election, you are way off the mark! We have more problems in this country than that trite statement, and one of the biggest is the media. This type of cheesy journalism is what gives the media such a bad name these days!
