Sen. Kerry loosens up
Nice op/ed piece in the Baltimore Sun today about Kerry on the campaign trail. It further demonstrates that MSN did a hatchet job last week on Senator Kerry.

For all of his humor and informality, however, it was Mr. Kerry's obvious grasp of the day's issues and the seriousness with which he addressed them that marked this open-air appearance. His credentials as a U.S. Senate veteran of nearly 19 years and a member of committees focused on foreign policy and national security most conspicuously define his claim on the Democratic presidential nomination he seeks.
The fact is that John Kerry's strength is not affability but knowledge and experience. Yet his reputation for seeming diffidence is one he must combat if he is to win the hearts as well as the minds of New Hampshire Democrats and independents on primary day next Jan. 27.
