Kerry to launch Internet petition drive on overtime

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) -- Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry plans an Internet-based petition drive that is intended to protest the Bush administration's proposal to tighten overtime pay standards.

The Massachusetts senator was using a Monday meeting with labor activists to get the effort under way by putting the first signature on the protest petition on his campaign's Web site.
