Four Years and Out--The Bush Family Legacy

Bush and Cheney continue to base their campaign on smears as opposed to discussing the record. This could seal their fate. Bush is determined to avoid the fate of his father, but by adopting the wrong tactics in the wrong year, he is doomed to continue the Bush family legacy of four years and out.

Most people are not going to vote based upon either candidate's war record--whether they fought, went AWOL, or protested.

They aren't even going to care about how someone voted before the war.

They are going to vote based upon whether they agree with how the war has been handled, or see it as a fiasco.

They are going to vote based upon who they think can keep American safer in the world--who can build a stronger America and restore America's standing in the world.

They are going to vote based upon whether they can afford health care, and find a good job.

As long as Bush leaves a vacuum with regards to discussing the real issues, more and more voters are going to vote for the candidate who is offering real solutions.

We see this year who is capturing the interest, and hopes, of America. We see which candidate is drawing in the big crowds at rallys. John Kerry's web site, based upon discussion of the issues and solutions for our problems, is among the highest rated of sites. Bush's site, based upon smears and attacks, gets much less attention.

It must be tough to be running for reelection and not have a record one can run on.
