"I'm John Kerry and I'm reporting for duty."

"My fellow Americans: We are here tonight united in one simple purpose: to make America stronger at home and respected in the world."

"We have it in our power to change the world again. But only if we're true to our ideals and that starts by telling the truth to the American people. That is my first pledge to you tonight. As president, I will restore trust and credibility to the White House."

We have respect around the world... what Kerry is looking for is respect period for himself.

Telling the truth to the American people... oh I can't wait for that to start. Bad move by Kerry to try this approach as it is going to backfire bigtime.

George Bush has done nothing to earn any credibility while president , he lied when he was campaigning he lied now that he is in office, he has cost the US billions of dollar lost countless jobs, cattered to the business elite and basically made this country the most hated in the world ...yea Kerry may not be the best man for the job ...but then just about anyone would be..

In reply to one of the comments above, John Kerry is well respected by those who have followed his career. It's only those whose knowledge of the world is distorted by the right wing media who believe there is any need for Kerry to look for respect for himself.

Instead of following the right wing media, check out a broader ranger of material, including the foreign press. Then you would see how badly Bush has harmed our reputation in the eyes of most of the world.

This is a joke. I have wrote many comments on this site. I am a bush supporter. I have not cussed or been out of line. Simply spoke what I believe. All of my comments have been removed. Talk about media and brainwashing. I guess the liberal administrator of the site picks what he wants you to read.

Watch the Music Video
What came over me? Patriotism? Passion of one kind or another? Michael Moore?
The result of whatever emotions I was left with after watching the Democratic National Convention, it kept growing so I spent all night Saturday - until 5 a.m. - making this 3-min. music video about the convention.

Watch my Kerry-Edwards Democratic National Convention music video; Music by U2 (3:37)
Streaming video; must have Windows Media player
