More about Kerry and Labor from the Charleston Post and Courier.

I like Richard Gephardt. Labor likes him too. In 1988, he picked up a great deal of support in Iowa from working people. His support remains strong, but John Kerry is making serious inroads into labor support that are worth looking at. The head of the Michigan Association of Educators has endorsed Senator Kerry. Click here.

Remember Bill Clinton's record on jobs? You might recall that he had the highest employment record in thirty years. His Secretary of Labor, Robert Reich, has endorsed John Kerry. Kerry endorses the idea of a Tax Holiday, something we have talked about on this blog in the last few weeks. Some spin doctors like to take an endorsement and turn it on its' ear, as though it makes a person an "insider." Those are the candidates that I don't trust. I trust Senator Kerry.
