John Kerry Talking points (1-8) on Women's Issues

As you go out and talk about the campaign, here are a few items concerning women you might want to discuss.

1.) Kerry was one of the sponsors of the Family and Medical Leave Act.

2.) He helped establish STOP grants, which help abuse/domestic violence victims.

4.) In 1996, Senator Kerry was an original cosponsor of the Women's Health Equity Act.

5.) Senator Kerry was an original cosponsor of the Violence Against Women Act, which has provided over $1 billion for battered women's shelters, hotlines, and other crucial resources.

6.) John Kerry supports and will work for Equal pay for Equal work laws- something you will never see as long as you know is in the White house.

7.) Senator Kerry is Pro-Choice!

8.) He has focused attention in his Senate career on Women's Health issues- especially Breats Cancer research.
